Driver killed in collision involving a lorry in Downham Market

A man in his 70s has died following a crash on the A10 in Downham Market.

Norfolk Police say the collision happened near the Stone Cross Lane turn-off at around midday on Monday (2 March) and involved a grey Volkswagen Tiguan colliding with a white Mercedes Actros lorry.

The road was closed while emergency services, including fire and ambulance crews, attended the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with information about the collision, including the manner of driving leading up to the collision.
