England superfan with homemade Wisbech flag becomes World Cup hit

His homemade Wisbech flag has been seen by millions on TV, and now an England superfan is turning into a viral hit.
Paul Green has followed the Three Lions at eight World Cups and has taken the flag - made in the early 1980s - to each of those tournaments.
"It carries the Norwich City crest as I'm a season ticket holder there and it means the world to me; it's been everywhere," Paul said.
"(But it's getting a bit battered and bruised now."
Paul - of Norfolk but originally from Wisbech - cannot wash the flag in case it ruins the Cross of St George.
But despite that, he's been inundated with messages from people back home after his flag was spotted throughout this summer's tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
"My social media and messages just went into total meltdown," he said.
"My phone just wouldn't stop pinging, so much so I had to switch it off at night just so I could get sleep; how am I coping with it (the attention)? I absolutely love it."
Paul, 68, said he's spent around £9,000 on England tickets at the tournament and that this year's World Cup has been the most expensive he's ever been to since he started following them around 44 years ago.
But he believes the latest trip he's embarked on is one of his favourites.
"It probably ranks up there as one of the best because of the stadiums; the stadiums are on a completely different level although South Africa was up there as well," Paul said.
In fact, because of his popularity online, Paul's even been asked to be a special guest.
"Loads of people have been messaging me saying they look out for it every game," he said.
"I've even had people asking me if I'd be prepared to switch the Christmas lights on in Wisbech this year; that does tickle me, I must admit."
England play France in the third place play-off in Miami tonight.
But after the disappointment of Atlanta, will Paul still carry on watching Thomas Tuchel's side?
"Following England is really important to me and I intend to keep doing it as long as I'm physically and financially able," he added.
"It's a way of travelling to many weird and wonderful countries you wouldn't normally go to and I've made some of the best friends ever."
