Cyclist dies in crash with tipper truck in Great Yarmouth
Police are appealing for witnesses
A man in his 30s has died after a collision with a tipper truck in Great Yarmouth.
The crash occurred near the junction of Herring Bridge and South Denes Road at around 11.26 am on 12th March.
The incident involved a blue and yellow Volvo tipper travelling northbound towards Yarmouth and an electric-assisted pedal bike going westbound at a pedestrian crossing.
Emergency services attended and closed the road. The cyclist was taken to James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston but tragically died from his injuries.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage that could aid the investigation to come forward.
