Appeal after fatal collision in Horning

Police are appealing for witnesses, after a fatal collision in Horning.

It happened at around 5.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 26 May 2026), on the A1062 Norwich Road, when, for reasons yet to be established, a red Ducati Panigale motorcycle left the road and collided with a tree.

The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene, including air ambulance, ambulance and fire. The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s, died at the scene.

The road re-opened at around 1.30am.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or manner of driving prior to the collision. Anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage is asked to get in touch via the following channels, quoting reference 36/37513/26:
