Young Voices, the world’s largest children’s choir concert, is marking its 100th show in Birmingham.
Taking place at bp pulse LIVE today (27 February), the concert also marks 28 years of Young Voices events in the city.
The concerts bring together over 6,000 children and teachers from schools across the country to sing and perform together.
Ben Lewis, CEO of Young Voices, said: “Young Voices have been uniting thousands of children in song at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues for over two decades.
"Reaching the 100-concert mark in Birmingham is a testament to the enduring popularity and impact of these concerts.”
The NEC Group, which runs bp pulse LIVE, is sponsoring two schools in Birmingham to take part in Young Voices 2025. As part of the sponsorship, it will also continue to fundraise for the schools for the next year.
Jen Mitchell, NEC Group Arenas Managing Director, said: “We’ve been hosting Young Voices since the 1990’s and since then thousands of youngsters in the region have performed at our Arenas.
“100 concerts in Birmingham is an amazing achievement we’re so proud to have been part of the Young Voices journey so far.”
