Wolverhampton Wanderers face Liverpool today in their first clash since Diogo Jota's death.

The 28-year-old played for both clubs, before he was killed in a car crash alongside his brother André Silva back in July.

Will there be Jota tributes?

Fans have told us they expect tributes to be made to the former Wolves forward at the game at Anfield, which kicks off at 3pm.

Dave Azzopardi, presenter on the Talking Wolves podcast, told us he expects the game to be touching: "I am sure both sets of fans will be chanting his name. There is still a lot of people affected.

"He was a massive part of people's lives and memories of football, a lot of my best memories of the club involve Diogo Jota.

"The tributes have been beautiful since his passing, especially in Wolves' match against Manchester City, for the first game of the season.

"I know Wolves fans are trying to take banners and flags in memory of Diogo into the ground as well.

"Although things are difficult for Wolves on the pitch at the moment, I am sure it will be a really touching moment to celebrate the life of Diogo, with both sets of fans who appreciated him so much," he said.

On the pitch...

On the pitch, manager Rob Edwards said he hoped the match marks a more positive start to the second half of the season:

"It has affected the players, there is no doubt about it. What concerns me is just getting the best out of people and trying to lift people up.

"That is the bit I am thinking about most," he said.
