Police charge teen after boy, 17, stabbed at University College Birmingham

A 17-year-old boy handed himself into a police station after another teen of the same age was stabbed at University College Birmingham last week.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with wounding after another boy of the same age was stabbed at University College Birmingham last week.

He was injured on Wednesday (10 Sept) just before 3:30pm and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 17-year-old handed himself into a local police station two days later on Friday 12 September.

He appeared before magistrates on Saturday (13 Sept) and is due for his next court appearance today.
