Two teenagers plead guilty to rioting in Tamworth disorder
The boys, aged 17 and 14, will be sentenced in April
Two teenagers have pleaded guilty to rioting offences following violent disorder in Tamworth over summer in 2024.
A 17-year-old and 14-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences at Cannock Magistrates' Court.
The 17-year-old also pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker.
Their behaviour relates to incidents on August 4th 2024 in Tamworth.
Staffordshire Police said some officers felt they would not make it home after the violence they faced on that night.
82 people have been charged for the disorder last summer, with the 200th suspect arrested in December 2024.
The pair will be sentenced on April 4th 2025.
