Teenager stabbed in Aston after social football game

A teenager is in hospital with suspected life-changing injuries after being stabbed in Aston.

West Midlands Police say officers were called to the Aston Triangle on the Aston University Campus at around 5.45 on Saturday evening.

The stabbing is believed to have happened following a social football game.

Officers are asking for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to come forward,

A suspect is described as black, around 18 to 20 years old, and is believed to have been wearing a grey Nike Tech tracksuit.

Witnesses, including those who may have captured mobile phone footage, are asked to get in touch with West Midlands Police on the non-emergency 101 number.
