A teenage boy has been seriously injured in a stabbing in Birmingham.
The 17-year-old was assaulted on High Street, near Dale End, just after 6pm yesterday (12 Oct).
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
West Midlands Police said: "Our investigation is at an early stage as officers work to establish exactly what happened.
"A scene is likely to remain in place into the morning and we would ask people to avoid the area.
