Smethwick teenager jailed after throwing zombie knife under car
Jesse Boakye, 19, admitted possessing a dangerous weapon
A 19-year-old man from Smethwick has been jailed for carrying a zombie knife in public.
Jesse Boakye, of Cape Hill, threw the weapon under a car while running from police in Overend Street on 23 February.
He pleaded guilty at Wolverhampton Magistrates to possessing a knife.
He was ordered to spend 8 months in prison.
West Midlands Police say he was caught by Project Guardian patrol in West Bromwich.
