Police launch investigation after shots fired in Birmingham

West Midlands Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a property in Small Heath, Birmingham, yesterday (30 Dec).

Damage was caused to a property on Bankes Road at around 2:40am. No one was injured.

West Midlands Police said: "We know this will cause concern for the local community. We've stepped up patrols and you will see an increased police presence in the area.

"We're reviewing CCTV as part of our enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who has information. We're particularly interested in dash cam footage from anyone who was in the area at the time.
