Shots fired at Birmingham home for the second time in a week

Police haven't yet made any arrests

Police are investigating after gunshots were fired at a house on Foley Road in Birmingham during the early hours of Saturday.

The shots were fired from inside a vehicle just before 2.30am.

Officers are now working to identify and trace those involved.

This is the second incident at the same property, following a similar occurrence at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, 1st July.

Fortunately, no injuries resulted from either incident.

After the first incident, the family was provided with safeguarding, and officers have been reviewing CCTV footage to try to find those responsible.

Police are conducting door-to-door enquiries, and there will be an increased presence in the area in the coming days.

Authorities are committed to removing firearms from the streets of the West Midlands and have asked anyone with information or footage from the local area to contact them.
