A body has been found following a fire that broke out at a disused factory in Birmingham at the weekend.
It follows a blaze in Barr Street in Aston early Sunday morning (17 August) where 12 crews tackled flames at the three storey building.
Emergency services are now working to establish the cause of the fire and full circumstances around it.
West Midlands Police gave us this short statement:
'We're investigating after the discovery of a body following a fire at a building in Aston.
'Emergency services were called to Barr Street at just before 8am today (17 August).
'A body was sadly discovered and we're working alongside fire service colleagues to establish the cause of the blaze and full circumstances.'
