Police have charged a third man over a shooting in Digbeth.

27-year-old Ewan Patterson, from Birmingham, was arrested on Friday and police have now charged him with attempted murder, possession of a firearm, and violent disorder. He'll appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court later today.

This comes after a disturbance in Digbeth last Sunday, which took place at the corner of Hack Street and Bromley Street at around 11.20pm. One man was taken to hospital after taking a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police previously charged two men over the incident, and are continuing their enquiries. Anyone with information is asked to call them on 101, quoting log 4503 of 23 August.
