Three charged with attempted murder after Oldbury stabbing

Three teenagers have been charged following the stabbing of a man in Oldbury.

Soleh Uzair, an 18-year-old from Halesowen, along with two 17-year-old boys from Smethwick, are facing charges of attempted murder.

They appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Saturday 4th July 2026).

The charges are linked to an incident on Market Street on 2nd July, where a 19-year-old man was stabbed during a fight.

The victim is currently in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

West Midlands Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist their enquiries to come forward.

Witnesses are encouraged to call 101, using incident number 2404 of 2nd July.

A police spokesperson said, "We are in the very early stages of our investigation and officers remain on scene carrying out enquiries and speaking to people in the area."
