A man has died after being involved in a collision between two cars in Drayton Bassett near Tamworth.
A man has died after being involved in a collision between two cars in Drayton Bassett near Tamworth this morning.
It happened at the junction of Sutton Road and Drayton Lane at around 6:50am.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman says: “On arrival, crews found a man in a critical condition receiving CPR.
“Ambulance staff immediately took over to administer advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.”
“The driver of the second car, a man, was treated by medics for injuries not believed to be serious before he was conveyed to Good Hope Hospital.”
