Police have charged a man with the murder of Atiqullah Niazai who was found dead at a property in Sparkbrook.
Atiqullah, aged 26, was discovered with stab injuries at an address in Long Street on 28 August. He was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.
Following enquiries police detained a 28-year-old man in connection with his death.
Me'Schach Crichton, from Birmingham, has now been charged with Atiqullah's murder.
He was remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (8 September).
Specialist officers are continuing to support Atiqullah's family at this devastating time.
