Man charged over Walsall disorder

Police have charged another man in connection with serious disorder involving weapons in Walsall.

Four people were seriously injured in a violent group attack in Reedswood Lane in July 2024.

40-year-old Amar Khan was arrested on Thursday (25 September) and has now been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm, possessing a firearm and having a knife.

He was remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (27 September).

Eight other men were previously convicted in relation to the disorder and jailed for almost 120 years.
