Police have charged a man after a serious collision in Coventry.

A man in his 20s was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Fletchamstead Highway on Monday evening (23 February).

Russell Hearn, 37, from Coventry has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without a licence, driving whilst uninsured and intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

Following searches, officers recovered class A and class B drugs from an address.

Hearn has been remanded in custody to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court today (26 February).
