Investigation launched following Birmingham city centre assault
Police want to identify those involved in the incident on Broad Street
An investigation has been launched following an assault in Birmingham city centre.
Officers were called to an incident on Broad Street at around half 1 in the morning on the 21st of June.
They arrested a 20-year-old man, who has since been charged with assaulting a police officer.
West Midlands Police is now carrying out active enquiries to identify those involved.
The force says they are aware of footage on social media showing the incident before the man is arrested and are now carrying out active enquiries to identify those involved.
