Second arrest following Great Barr stabbing

A second man has been arrested following a stabbing in Great Barr, Birmingham.

Police have made a second arrest after a man was stabbed in Great Barr, Birmingham, at the weekend.

The 20-year-old is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.

It follows an attack on Middlesmist Grove in the early hours of Saturday morning (30 August), which left a man in his 20s in a critical condition.

Another man, aged 18, has been released on police bail.

West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses to get in touch. A statement on the website said: "Detectives are examining CCTV from around the area, and we are asking anyone with doorbell or dashcam footage who has not yet spoken to us, to please get in touch.
