Police have charged another man with assisting an offender as part of their investigation into the murder of two men in Wolverhampton.

It comes after Mohammed Maneer Khan was charged with the murders of Duaine Mills and Syed Zain Ali, who died after the shooting in Leicester Street at around 3.10am on 19 September.

Yesterday (14 January) a 42-year-old man was arrested in Walsall, on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Samir Patel was charged yesterday afternoon with assisting an offender and is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.

Yaseen Patel, 34, has previously been charged with assisting an offender.

Investigations remain on-going and officers are asking anyone who has further information or footage, to call them on 101, quoting log 358 of 19 September.
