Four men to appear in court for attempted murder charges after Dudley shooting

Shots fired in Kingswinford as investigation continues

Four men are set to appear in court following charges of attempted murder after shots were fired during an unrest in Kingswinford.

Courtney Johnson, aged 33, Shakeel Janjua, aged 29, Zayn Khan, aged 22, all from Dudley, and Qaseem Janjua, aged 22, from Netherton, face charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon.

The charges come after shots were fired shortly after 1am on 18th February on Ketley Fields, Kingswinford.

A 23-year-old, who was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm, has been released on bail as the investigation proceeds.

Additionally, a 23-year-old man was found with stab wounds, although his injuries are not believed to be life-changing.

All four men have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on 20th February.
