Three were taken to hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening.

Now, four men aged between 25 and 30 have been charged with violent disorder, wounding and possession of an offensive weapon. They'll appear at Wolverhampton magistrate court tomorrow.

A total of six people were arrested initially, and the two others have been released on bail while enquiries continue.

The four that are due to appear at court are Hardeep Singh, aged 28 from Hounslow; Harpeet Singh, 25, from Leicester; Mukesh Kumar, 30, Wolverhampton and Lakwinder Singh, 26, from Smethwick.

Patrols continue to take place in the area, and as part of enquiries a gun was recovered and further investigations around the weapon are being carried out. Police say they do believe it to be an isolated incident.
