Zain Alishan has been jailed for 2 years and 9 months
A drug dealer, arrested after flying back from Dubai, has been jailed for supplying Class A drugs in Tamworth.
Police said Zain Alishan left the country after a friend had been arrested.
He was later stopped by police in Birmingham airport and later pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin between September 2024 and January last year.
Officers said the drug line he controlled made £15,000 in less than a year and a half.
The 28-year-old from Birmingham appeared in Stafford Crown Court on Tuesday (26th May).
He was sentenced to 2 years and 9 months in prison.
