Car found submerged in flood water in Hall Green
It's after heavy snow over the weekend across the West Midlands

A car has been left abandoned in flood waters in Hall green after melted snow from the weekend caused river levels to rise.
The top of the car can just about be seen in the dip on Green Road, off Sarehole Road, in Hall Green after The River Cole flooded leaving paths and trails impassable in places.
It's thought the driver was unable to go through the high flood waters and was forced to abandon their vehicle. West Midlands Police and West Midlands Fire Service were called out to the scene this morning and have since cordoned off the scene.
People in the local area told us they felt concerned for the people involved: "It is frightening. I have never seen anything like that. They need to put better measures in place to stop people crossing the ford when it is dangerous," one person said.
There is a sign nearby to the ford which lets you know when the levels are too high to cross, which one resident said people do not pay enough attention to: "If you follow the guidelines, you do not need to cross it. People just don't listen," she said.
It comes as the Environment Agency has issued 16 flood warnings currently in the region, including eight in Birmingham. There are also 18 flood alerts across the West Midlands.
