A Sutton Coldfield man has been jailed for a string of sex offences after being found with a child who had been reported missing.
A Sutton Coldfield man has been jailed after admitting to a string of sex offences, including rape, after being found with a child who had been reported missing.
Jayke Bullivant, 19, pleaded guilty to rape, attempted rape, sexual abuse of a child, and inciting a child in sexual activity.
The investigation into the teenager begun when he was found with a child who had been reported missing in December 2023. He was then charged with inciting a child to engage with sexual activity.
Officers continued to investigate and found Bullivant had raped a child on two separate occasions, and as a result, he was further charged.
Bullivant, of Falcon Lodge Crescent, has been jailed for nine years with an extended licence for eight years, and he was given a sexual harm prevention order, and will be on the sex offenders register for the rest of his life.
DC Amelia Rose and DC Joshua Gemmell, from West Midland’s Police, said: “This sentence is reflective of the abuse suffered by four child victims.
"They have all shown immense courage throughout this investigation.
"We encourage anyone who has suffered abuse to come forward. You will be supported, and you will be believed."
