Investigation launched following reported gun shots in Birmingham

Police in Birmingham are investigating a disorder.

Police are investigating a disorder in Birmingham, which happened last night (13 Mar).

Officers responded to reports of a fight on Bevington Road at around 7:15pm, where a man was injured and taken to hospital.

There were then reports of a firearm being discharged later on at around 8:20pm on Ilsley Road. No on was injured.

Police say they are carrying out CCTV enquiries and are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

West Midlands Police website stated: "We understand the concern in the community, and officers will be patrolling the area.
