10 men have been taken to hospital following a crash between a minibus and a car in Hall Green, Birmingham, last night.

It happened on the A34 at around 11:55pm yesterday (2 July).

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival, crews found a man, a passenger in the minibus, in a potentially life-threatening condition. They immediately began administering specialist trauma care before conveying him under emergency driving conditions to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

“Two other men, both passengers in the minibus, were treated for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

“Three men, who were also passengers in the minibus, were treated for injuries not believed to be serious and conveyed to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital for further treatment.

“A further four men, including the driver of the minibus, were treated for injuries not believed to be serious, and conveyed to Heartlands Hospital.”
