Arrests made in connection with attempted murder of child and woman in Birmingham

A 14-year-old girl and 23-year-old woman were hit by a car in Stechford in February

Arrests have been made in connection with an attempted murder in Birmingham.

Police say two men aged 46 and 22, and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a child and a woman were hit by a car in Albert Road, Stechford, on 1 February this year.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested on conspiracy to commit serious assault.

And a 43-year-old woman was also arrested for malicious communications after making several false reports to police.

The girl, aged 14, and woman, 23, suffered leg injuries following the incident.
