Three teens charged with attempted murder of 15-year-old in Birmingham

Three teenagers have been charged with the attempted murder of a 15-year-old on Alum Rock Road in Birmingham.

It happened last Friday (7 March), with paramedics called to the road, near the junction with College Road just before 8.45pm.

It is believed the boy was attacked near Morris Park a short time earlier.

The boy who was stabbed is recovering in hospital.

Two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, have been charged with attempted murder, and possession of a bladed article.

All three have been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates today (12 March).

A 21-year-old had already been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article and has been remanded in custody.
