95-year-old woman treated in hospital after robbery near Rubery supermarket
The victim's purse was stolen
Stefania Kapati was arrested and charged by officers in connection with a robbery near Morrisons in Rubery on 29 April.
Shortly before 4pm, a 95-year-old woman was pushed to the ground and her purse was stolen, leaving her with injuries requiring hospital treatment.
Following enquiries by officers from the Birmingham LPA Neighbourhood Crime Team, a woman in her 20s was arrested.
Kapati, 29, was charged with robbery earlier this month and will appear at Birmingham Crown Court on 30 May for trial.
She has been bailed with strict conditions until this date.
