Four people have been treated for smoke inhalation - after a fire in Birmingham.
Crews were called before 3am this morning to New Street, to the building which house both the HSBC and the Premier Inn above.
Around 200 people were evacuated from the hotel - the blaze has now been put out.
A Premier Inn spokesperson said:
“Our hotel on New St was evacuated this morning due to a fire in an adjoining building. All guests were evacuated safely and have now been able to collect their belongings and were moved to a nearby Premier Inn.
We would like to thank the emergency services for their response and the swift actions of our team to ensure the evacuation was handled quickly and calmly, and ensuring guests were able to be cared for in one of our nearby hotels.”
