Police appeal for help in identifying man after Sherborne fight
Authorities seek public assistance following Bristol Road assault
Dorset Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a man following a fight between two groups in Sherborne.
Officers responded to the incident, which occurred at around 1:30am on Sunday, 12th July 2026, on Bristol Road.
Upon arrival, they found a man with injuries who was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police Constable Ben Hannigan from Dorset Police said: "As part of my enquiries, I am issuing an image of a man I would like to identify.
"I would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.
"Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident and has not already spoken to police."
