The family of a ‘beautiful young boy’ who tragically died in a collision on the A38 have paid tribute to him.
Staffordshire Police say Isaac Radbourne, aged 7, went on to the northbound carriageway at Swinfen on Saturday (7 March), having got out of his house despite preventative / security measures being in place.
Sadly, he was involved in a collision with two other vehicles, a blue Vauxhall Mokka and a white Mercedes at about 5am.
Specialist officers have been supporting Isaac’s family at this time while collision investigators continue with their enquiries.
Today (Monday 9 March), Isaac’s family have issued a tribute: “Isaac was a beautiful loving young boy who will be sorely missed by his parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and wider family.
“Please respect our family and allow us time to grieve in privacy.”
The drivers of both vehicles stayed at the scene following the collision and continue to support collision investigators with their enquiries.
Police are asking the that Isaac’s family are given the space and privacy needed to grieve during this unprecedented time and their wishes are respected, without online or social media speculation.
