Teams searching lake in Lincoln for missing teenager
Specialist teams are carrying out searches at Swanholme Lakes
A search operation is underway after a 15-year-old boy went missing in the water at Swanholme Lakes in Lincoln.
Emergency services were called out at 2.30pm this afternoon (Sunday 24th May 2026), following reports that the boy was experiencing difficulties in the water.
Despite efforts from individuals present at the lake and the responding emergency services, the teenager has yet to be found.
A search operation is continuing, with assistance from the Under Water Search Team.
Lincolnshire Police say the missing boy's family are being supported.
Officers are requesting that the public refrain from speculating or disseminating incorrect information, stating that any claims of the boy being found are inaccurate.
