Fresh appeal made as police name suspected murder-kidnap victim as Jack Sullivan
Detectives want to hear from anyone who has seen Jack's missing Louis Vuitton trainers or a black Mitsubishi Outlander car as part of their enquiries
A man who police suspect was kidnapped in Essex and murdered in Hertfordshire has been named as Jack Sullivan.
Essex Police believe the 21-year-old was taken from Waltham Abbey on Monday 22nd June 2026.
He was later found with fatal injuries in Hertfordshire.
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on conditional bail as the investigation continues.
Authorities are seeking public assistance in tracking a black Mitsubishi Outlander and locating a pair of missing blue Louis Vuitton trainers belonging to Sullivan.
Request for Information
The investigation is being led by DCI Greg Wood from Essex Police.
Wood noted that the black Mitsubishi Outlander, suspected to have been used in the kidnapping, was stolen from Loughton on 3rd June.
It was later abandoned on River Close, near Fishers Close, in Waltham Cross on 23rd June.
Police are requesting information about sightings of the vehicle between these dates.
Additionally, Sullivan's blue Louis Vuitton trainers, worth around £1,000, remain missing.
Wood mentioned that these trainers could be worn by someone unaware of their previous ownership or possibly being sold.
DCI Wood stressed the priority of finding answers for Sullivan's family and encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
