13-year-old boy dies in M4 collision, police seek witnesses

Appeal for dashcam footage following fatal accident

An inicdent struck the M4 motorway on 18th July, as a collision claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy who was a passenger in a Toyota RAV-4.

The incident occurred around 8 pm between junctions 16 and 17, involving a collision with a Renault van.

Details of the Incident

A woman also travelling in the Toyota is currently hospitalised with serious injuries, though the drivers of both vehicles escaped without major harm.

The loss of the teenage boy has deeply affected his family, who are requesting privacy during this painful time.

Appeal for Information

The Serious Collision Investigation Team is calling on anyone who witnessed the accident or has dashcam footage that could assist in the investigation to come forward.
