Woman treated for broken hip after collision in Stockton

A woman has been treated in hospital for a broken hip following a collision in Stockton.

The crash happened at around 9:18am on Tuesday morning (23rd December) at the junction of A66, Yarm Back Lane, and Durham Lane.

The collision involved a black Ford Fiesta and a white Peugeot van.

The driver of the Fiesta, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment.

Cleveland Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 244038.
