Woman's body found in Norton

Police have discovered a woman's body in a woodland area in Norton.

Officers were called to Albany Road at around 9.40am on Saturday (20 September) following reports of a body being seen near an embankment.

Cleveland Police released a statement on Saturday afternoon, which said: "Officers and ambulance attended to the scene.

"The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious."
