Woman Arrested after reports of a shooting in Middlesbrough

A woman has been arrested in connection with an investigation into a firearms discharge at a property on Middlebeck Close in Middlesbrough.

The incident took place around 11.10pm on Wednesday 7th May. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

On the evening of Thursday 8th May, officers arrested a 41-year-old woman from Middlesbrough on suspicion of conspiracy to possess firearms with the intent to endanger life. She remains in police custody at this time.

Enquiries are ongoing and neighbourhood officers continue to carry out high-visibility patrols in the area, to offer reassurance to local communities.
