Appeal after vets in Hartlepool robbed of medicines for animals

Police are appealing for information after a vets in Hartlepool was robbed of medicines for animals.
At approximately 11.30pm on Friday 20 June offenders forced their way into Clifton Lodge Veterinary on Stockton Road.
After smashing the door to gain access, they then ransacked the property.
While inside several items were stolen including medicine for animals, with officers warning members of the public not to use them due to potential side effects.
PC Hamilton, from Hartlepool CID, said: "There are various enquires ongoing including reviewing CCTV footage and I would ask anyone with information to get in touch.
"The same goes for anyone who has been sold or offered medicine for animals.
Any items found should be disposed of safely or handed in to a police station."
