Three teenagers charged with murder of 49-year-old Stockton man
The teenagers are due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court
Three teenagers have been charged in connection with the murder of a man in Stockton.
The charges come after police were called to a house on Egglescliffe Close, Stockton, where a 49-year-old man was found dead.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET) arrested two 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man on Saturday 10th January on suspicion of murder.
Following questioning in custody, all three were charged on Monday 12th January and remanded in custody.
They are due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 13th January.
The three charged men have been named as Charlie Wilcock, 18, of no fixed address; Jesse Reaney, 18, of Lowthian Road in Hartlepool; and Layton Lightfoot, 19, of Stockwith Close in Middlesbrough.
The victim’s family is being supported by specially trained officers.
