Arrested Thornaby man released with no further action as woman's death ruled 'not suspicious'

The update relates to officers who were called to a property on Baysdale Road shortly before 2.15am on Thursday 25 September.

A 47-year-old woman’s death was being treated as unexplained.

Following a Home Office Post Mortem, police can confirm her death is not being treated as suspicious.

A 50-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action.

Detectives will now prepare a file for the coroner.
