A woman's been arrested, after the death of an 8 year old on Teesside
Cleveland police say at 10am on Monday the 15th of September, they were informed by the North East Ambulance service - after the death of the child.
The child’s death is currently being treated as unexplained and detectives have launched an investigation.
A 40-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the child’s death and she is currently being questioned.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Cleveland Police said, in a statement on social media;
"Our thoughts are with the family of the child during this very difficult time."
