Middlesbrough's Multibank that helps struggling families and individuals say they're expecting to help even more people this year especially with energy bills set to rise from July.

Staff at the hub hands out essential items like toiletries, clothing and crockery to those who need it the most.

Simon Nott is the manager there and he said: "We're always busy and we continue to ship out large volumes of essential items, but the demand will always be there. Some of it depends on our capacity, because as many goods as we can deliver, there will be people who will require the goods.

"The first full year of our operation since our launch, we delivered just over two million items. This year, we will be delivering a lot more than that. It wouldn't be surprising that demand was increased over the foreseeable future."
