Teenager dies after Saltburn Lane collision

A 17 year old boy's died, after a crash near Saltburn over the weekend

A 17-year-old boy has died following a two-vehicle collision on Saltburn Lane on Saturday, 6th June.

Alfie Sivills, from East Cleveland, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, passed away on the evening of Monday 8th June in hospital.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers and Cleveland police say their thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.

Passengers from the same vehicle, a boy aged 17 and a boy aged 15, remain in hospital at this time whilst receiving treatment.

An 18-year-old boy was discharged from hospital after treatment for a broken arm.

The occupants of a Toyota Corolla also remain in hospital whilst receiving treatment.

Officers are continuing to investigate the collision.
