Teenager arrested after 4 year-old injured after being hit by scooter

A child has been injured after she was hit by an electric scooter in Stockton.

The 4-year-old was knocked over on Talbot Street in Stockton at 5:20pm on Friday causing her to fall and hit her head.

She was taken to hospital, where it was confirmed that thankfully she has no serious injuries, but does have a bump to her head.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, drug driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
