Stockton’s The Gathering Sounds Festival confirms 2025 return

Now that the dust has settled on an unforgettable 2024 edition, The Gathering Sounds Festival is thrilled to announce its return for 2025, solidifying its position as one of the North East’s premier urban indie festivals for emerging UK talent.
Set to take place on Saturday, 27th September 2025, across multiple venues in Stockton-on-Tees, this celebrated one-day festival will once again transform the town into a vibrant hub for the best in new music. The Gathering Sounds Festival has not only become a beacon for music lovers but also a vital contributor to the local economy. The festival’s magic comes to life across Stockton’s iconic venues, including the Georgian Theatre, ARC, and KU Bar and the festival has been a launchpad for some of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming acts.
Fat Dog, The Royston Club, SNAYX, and Wings of Desire headlined in 2024, alongside standout performances from About Bunny, Komparrison, and The Crooks. These names are just a glimpse of the star power that has graced TGS stages, making the festival a must-attend event for anyone wanting to catch the future of music before it breaks onto the global stage.
